Bent Rod Fly Fishing provides great fishing experiences on some of the best waters in Northern California. Whether you want to chase Steelhead that come up our rivers in the fall and winter or spend the day on one of our small Central Valley streams catching the Wild Rainbow Trout that inhabit those streams, there is a destination for you.
All of my trips are full day float trips. I fish out of a 16 ft. Adipose Boat on most rivers or a 13 ft. pontoon boat on our smaller streams.
Anglers of all skill levels are welcome. Whether you have never held a fly rod or you are an advanced fly fisher, I can help you have a great day on the river. I will do my best to meet your expectations.
Whether you want to learn techniques and fly selections I find effective, or you want to learn a stretch of river so you can fish on your own in the future, I will tailor your trip to meet your expectations.
My philosophy is simple, a guided fishing trip should be affordable and a guide should never be less than honest to sell a trip. It is much more important to me that you have the best day possible rather than simply take your money and hope for the best.
I will always give you the most honest and accurate assessment of current conditions that I can, period.
